How to Find Archived Emails in Gmail

Gmail is google's email service that is very easy to use and most widely used, many of the advantages that you can get by using email in Gmail. Gmail also has an archive of features, where your old email messages, You can archive drafts so that email messages are no longer cluttering up your Inbox or not displayed in the inbox.

The email message that you have archived will be hidden, but you can still see the email even restore to Inbox or your inbox.

To archive your email is very easy, you simply checklist the email that you will make the archive then will appear to the new menu and click on the menu button "archive" are as shown below.

Method 1: via Gmail on Website

• Log into your Gmail account on the web browser.

• To find archived messages, archived messages will still appear as a search result, so if you know the sender, subject, message body part, or any other part of the message. To search email in this way you can use the search bar at the top of the page by typing the name of the sender, the email subject or body of the message.

• Look through your labels. If the label is applied to a message that is archived, the message will still be found and sorted by label. To search for a label, you can see the left side of the page.

• Another way is to click the "More" in the left menu and you will find All mail menu and select the "All Mail" as in the picture above. This will display all email messages in your Gmail account, as well as archived emails will also appear in the list of All Mail. Messages that are archived are not indicated by a label or other indicators. Messages that are archived only has the label "Inbox" which was deleted so that it no longer appears in your Inbox.

• To bring up the archived emails to the Inbox of your Gmail account, click the "Move to Inbox". The way your email archived going back to your Inbox and sorted by date.

Method 2: How to Find Archived Emails on Gmail Mobile

• Open your Gmail application. And login to your Gmail account.

• Archived messages will still appear as a search result, so if you have to know the sender, subject, body or parts of the contents of the email, or any other part of the message, search for it by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen and you will find your email again.

• Look through your labels. If the label is applied to a message that is archived, it can still be found and sorted by label. Press the Menu button in the upper left corner of the screen and scroll down to browse through your labels.

• Press the Menu button and press the "All mail". This will display all the mail in your Gmail account, regardless of the label or whether it is archived or not. Messages that are archived are not indicated by a label or other indicators. The archived message only has the label "Inbox" which was deleted so that it no longer appears in your Inbox.

• Press the Menu button in the top-right corner of the message with icon "arrow down" so that the messages that are archived. Press the "Move to Inbox" to restore the archived messages back to your Inbox.
