If you have a Facebook page, you might wish to customized a style the Cover picture. Picasa's Collage tool is an excellent method to do this. If you are a Geek on Trip member, we just recently made a total 'Brief Course' on utilizing the Collage tool. This suggestion is simply one piece of that course and making it easily readily available for all.
Facebook Cover Photos Size
The secret to making a Facebook Timeline cover picture is the measurements. Or, more particularly the ratio of the length to width, referred to as the Element Ratio. A bit of research study shows up that Facebook's perfect ratio is 851X315. Not sure why it's 851-- that sounds a bit odd to me. 850X315 works fine.To achieve this with Picasa, you have to set a customized element ratio. On either the Crop measurement drop-down box, or the Page Format drop-down box, you'll see the capability to 'Include Custom-made Element Ratio' at the bottom of the list. Pick that and simply go into 850X315. See a previous suggestion: Resizing a Photo's Height and Width.read this:
Actions for a Collage to be a Facebook cover image
- The correct element ratio for a
facebook cover photo size is 850X315 (see guide video: Resizing Images to width and height) Utilize the page format setting to alter to that ratio. - Re-crop the background image
to the 850/315 ratio also. - Diminish and move 3 little pictures to bottom right in order to include your profile image (avatar) in Facebook
- Produce collage, then Export outcomes. Select 850 as the export size (this is not needed, Facebook will resize as long as the percentages are right.).
- Log into
facebook and hover over your cover picture, click where it states 'Modification Cover' and Publish the exported collage. - Conserve Modifications.
