How to change your Facebook name? If you went by one name when you registered for Facebook and you now pass another name, you can alter the name utilized on your account. For example, if you just recently got married and participated of your partner's name, you can change your Facebook to the new name. To prevent abuse, Facebook restricts the variety of times you can alter your name and manually authorizes name-change requests before making them live.
2. Click "Edit" in the "Call" field.
3. Erase your old name and enter your new name.
4. Click "Conserve Changes."
